VIVID SYDNEY 2023
In 2023 Susan's project has been selected in the official program of the largest light festival in the world Vivid Sydney with more then 3 million visitors. The coral system was a representation of ocean datasets and helped to raise attention of climate change and warming oceans. More details here.
What Lies Beneath is an ocean data visualization project, it explores a new visual language driven by 20 years of data information by Nasa (2003-2023). The 3D-mapped projection mapping transforms the stones of Nawi Cove in Barangaroo into an underwater home of corals and creatures, creating a visceral and inhabitable visual realm where each organism changes based on data sets representing the behaviour of the ocean.
