BLINK FESTIVAL 2024
In 2024 Susan Kosti was selected as a featured artist on the largest light festival in the world, Blink Festival. Urbaphilia, showcased at Cincinnati's iconic Music Hall, transforms the city into a living, breathing organism through data visualization and storytelling.
Inspired by Cincinnati’s diverse cultures and harmony, the project animates 12 years of population and green job growth data on a human-shaped figure. Purple skyscrapers represent population density, while green trees symbolize environmental progress, with every element dynamically reflecting the city’s evolution. As the heart of Cincinnati, Music Hall was the perfect canvas to celebrate the city’s spirit and connections.
